Copper Cane Spirits Marketing Website
The Challenge
Copper Cane approached us to create an immersive website experience for their new distillery and line of spirits. Copper Cane Spirits is a California-based distillery created by Kyle Stroud and winemaker Joe Wagner.
Our team worked closely with Copper Cane's in-house marketing team to create a story-focused marketing website to entice distributors and introduce consumers to a new distillery with a whimsical story.

A Whimsical History
The inspiration for the story of Copper Cane Spirits came from the fictional history of Queen Califia and the creation of the island of California.
We sourced historic woodcut illustrations and utilized subtle animation throughout the site to bring the story of Califia to life in a thoughtful and delightful way.
Art Direction
The design process for this project was challenging because Copper Cane's creative team was developing their brand story and visual language at the same time we were building their website.
Our team served as the creative engine for Copper Cane Spirits - providing art direction for video and photography style. The designs we presented for the website ultimately laid the visual foundation for the overall brand identity.
